The Living Room
transformed to a lovely space we all enjoy
almost there . . . . . . . .

The living room as you enter the house
from the front door.

The room from the other side though the French doors.
Since this room only has the one window it will be
enlarged when we reside the house next year.
The door to the master bedroom is off to the right.

We still need to do the baseboards but those will wait till
after the floor is refinished.

This room has come together very nice we all love it.

The dresser that the TV is on has moved to
Sara's room and we found a lovely old
sideboard down here to replace it.

Detail of trim found throughout the living room. It
will be the same in the room of requirement.
making progress . . . . . . . .
this is the one almost "normal" room of the house.
The floors are not re-done but the French doors
work to keep the dogs out of the daily mess.

Tia and Harry relax in the sun on the couch.

The TV is up complete with
Wii attached but Dish yet.
This is where everyone relaxes.
(when Gail lets them all stop work).
Matt resting in the tub during a heated game of Wii.
Currently the tub is in the living room!

what was . . . . . . .
The Living Room

This room will need the least face lift. We will
remove the door to the small bedroom and
redirect traffic to that room through the hall
in the new addition.

The living room has lovely French doors and
hardwood floors were under the old carpet.
The white haze on the hardwood is sheetrock pieces
and dust - the floors were not cleaned
before the old carpet was laid.
